I've actually been clamoring for this game since i seen it last E3. It was one of the games i've had my eyes on since then. I'm not surprised it got good reviews. Seems out of the box and fun.
Ahh good catch. That is true and i forgot all about it. I just hope it doesn't get patched in and it ships with Co-op.

"And then there’s the four-player co-op campaign to look forward to. Now that really could be something special". I don't know about you guys but i didn't even know Co-op was confirmed for Killzone 2. But this preview here says it'll be 4 player Co-Op. That's a pretty good plus in my eyes.
As for the comparisons to CoD4 throughout the aritcle i think for some reason they are stretching abit. There's quite a few modern FPS's that are quite scripted besides CoD4. It's start...
Still costs too god damn much. It's (still) almost the price of the arcade. Though a step in the right direction. If they cut the price of the smaller hard drive as well as the wi-fi adapter then maybe that would sway my urge to buy one more.

You don't honestly want the 360 to die do you? If it did then it would be bad for us "core" gamers. Head to head competition for Sony to get the Core Gamers money is only good for us consumers. Lower hardware prices, better games, more unique idea's and the companies keep a ear to the fan more. Competition is good.
I think this will be a pretty hot for the importers this holiday season.
Am I the only one that thought of a sky diving game? I remember watching shows on HALO jumping before i heard about Halo the game. Besides Halo would never hit Ps3 as long as MS is in the console manufacturing business.
It's funny you say that because i can't stand JRPG's (and i'm not big on FPS's either). RPG's don't appeal to me in general (Oblivion, KOTOR, FF etc). I could care less if Star Ocean ended up on the Ps3. I just think that this particular title will eventually come to Ps3. Hell i never even had a Ps1 and my favorite system of all time is the Dreamcast (criminally under rated system).

I agree with Fishy. Warhawk was the game that single handedly got me interested in Online gaming and made me stop looking down on it. The game really is that good. Specially with the new booster pack with the jetpacks. It really breathes new life into Warhawk. I was the same way as Fishy when it came out, i was addicted to it. Just putting this out there. But why would they say it was coming to the competitions console in the manual of a 360 exclusive game? Not to mention that it's been only announced for 360 so far. Just saying man, these companies are in it to make $ and putting their game on both consoles probably nets them more cash.
I love these little quirky games. I can't wait until i finally pick up a PSN card, the first games i'm buying from PSN is Echocrhome and probably MM9 if it's out by then.
*Laughs my ass off* Yeah i noticed when i edited what i said. It was originally "I'll have fun smacking my girlfriend and some of my friends with my sackboy". Then i changed it to it's current form. It's still alot you could think of that could be tooken a couple of different ways (pun intended) but i'd take orgy jokes over abruisive boyfriend jokes.
@Juuky: I definitely preferred DMC3 more than DMC4. I would have liked to seen more Nero and i didn't like how they pussified Dante. That and every weapon besides maybe Lucifer (which was kind of like Vergil's spectral blades but better) and Pandora. It's looking like Beyonetta is going to be everything i expected out of DMC4.
@cemelc: Same here. I would have NEVER thought EA would stop churning out lame sequels. Or even try to start a few new IP's. It's like everything is bizzar...
Capcom's game quality has gone down in my eyes after the mediocre DMC4. I'm just hoping MM9 and SF4 live up to my lofty expectations. It's funny how some of the most trusted pub/dev's like Capcom is starting to churn out samey sequels. While on the other end a company like EA is bringing in new I.P's and revitalizing older franchises.
Just make sure SF4 doesn't have a 5 gig install as well Capcom *gives them the evil eye*.
Killzone 2 is looking mighty good these days. I'm stoked for online and it could finally be the game that takes me away from TF2. I just hope everything turns out to be stable and good. I'm not expecting it to be a "one of the best FPS's ever created" or anything like that.
